These tasks depend not only on how quickly a page opens, but also on avoiding noticeable pauses during the connection.

IEPL resources generally cost more to organize and maintain than ordinary direct connections, so they are better suited to work that depends on connection continuity rather than every type of access. For reading webpages, text, or occasional international sites, transit or direct routes in a nearby region may be a better fit. Put the destination region first: when accessing European services, an Asian IEPL route may have a nearby entry point but still be less suitable for the account region and content requirements than a European exit.

Actual transit performance depends on the combination of entry point, exit, and target service.
